Judson Lodge was named for Ann and Adoniram Judson, pioneer Baptist missionaries to Burma. The central feature of the Lodge is its unique stone fireplace.

The Lodge was built in the early 1940's when the camp was owned by the Seventh Day Adventists. When the Lodge was being built, Adventist missionaries from around the world sent stones and shells to be used in the construction of the fireplace.
